Process
1. Base Forming:
Shape the base using wood, bamboo, or paper
2. Foundation Coating:
Apply raw urushi mixed with tonoko, then dry and polish
3. Middle Coating:
Apply refined lacquer, repeat drying and polishing
4. Final Coating:
Final layer applied in dust-free conditions, defines luster and smoothness
5. Curing:
Harden in humid chamber for days to weeks
6. Finishing:
Inspect for imperfections, only flawless pieces are shipped
